CA Moments

We have finished the 24^th Year of the incredible CA Journey. As we now traverse through the 25^th Year of this generational journey, the one and only one thought which stays with me is GRATITUDE. If there is one achievement that we all could be proud of then it would be our ability to stay relevant even after 24 years and that too in a hyper-competitive market like India. This means a lot, especially in the backdrop of so many institutions exiting the wealth industry during this period, including the banks that I used to work with before founding CA. Gratefully, we happen to be the only Non-Bank Wealth Platform of 2002 vintage which survives in India today.

This could have happened only because of enormous collective belief and blessings of all CAites – past and present, our clients and all our well-wishers in our industry. Ours is a business of trust which gets built on the foundation of credibility and stays because of consistency in character. Our aspiration and ability to bring access to global best practices to Indian families has helped us build credibility and our character to stay consistent with our Vision, Values and Purpose has helped us to keep the hard earned trust. That has brought us the compounding effect and let me talk about that a little bit.

FY26 was the 24^th business year we completed. By all means, it was an outlier year amongst all 24 years that I have lived here which truly manifested the compounding strength of Brand CA. Let’s understand this. I can say that FY26 has been the most turbulent year which took off in April’25 with the unsettling turbulence unleashed by the US on the tariff front and the year landed with another unanticipated and even more unsettling turbulence unleashed by Israel-US in the month of March. While the take-off turbulence consumed the productivity of the markets for much of the year, the rough landing shaved off almost 10% from the market value of our AUM in the very last 30 days of the year. Despite an operating environment like this, we were able to close the year with a positive growth in our revenues which, though in low single digits, tells us about our strength. Friends, in a war, only the winners survive, though with bruises. We did that!!

Brand CA is nothing but a collective reflection of our individual character. If we have chosen to be with CA then it tells us that we all are unitedly bonded by the thread of like-mindedness. Brand CA is unique in a crowded industry like ours because we all are unique in our thinking which is divergent from the crowd.

Winners don’t do different things. They do the same things differently. We become outstanding only when we stand out!
