Shivam, our Executive Director - CA Alternate Fund, joined Client Associates in 2018, leveraging a rich career spanning over two decades. He brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit and financial expertise to his role. A former co-founder of an agri-tech startup, Shivam understands the intricacies of early-stage company building.

Before spearheading the CA Alternate Fund, Shivam led the Investment Banking vertical at Client Associates for ~5 years, rapidly building a robust practice. His diverse experience includes leading transactions in sectors like Consumer Tech, HR Tech, Fintech, and Health Tech, while delivering attractive returns to investors alongside.

With over a decade long stint at Standard Chartered Bank, Shivam honed his deal-making skills (with transactions aggregating to ~USD 4 bn across M&A, Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance and advisory), amassing recognition from clients and awards from international organizations like The Asset Triple A Hongkong. An alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad with an MBA and a B.Com (Hons) from the University of Delhi, Shivam is also a dedicated mentor and advisor to several early-stage companies, guiding their growth journey.
